Lake Macquarie Game Fishing Club situated at the port of Swansea was formed in 1962, since that time membership has grown to the extent that it is now the second largest Club in NSW.

It is a family orientated Club with separate divisions for Ladies, Juniors (11yrs to under 16yrs) and Small Fry (under 11 years) Anglers.

Normally on the 1 st weekend in February, the Club will host its annual tournament, the Big Fish Bonanza where some 60 to 70 boats will participate.

Over the years numerous LMGFC anglers have had World, Australian & NSW records granted for Marlin, Sharks & Other Game Fish.
